Tug Hill Commission set to host budget sessions

The Tug Hill Commission will host two informational sessions to help village officials prepare annual budgets.

Laird Petrie of the state comptroller's office will present both workshops designed to cover topics such as budgetary responsibilities of village officials, monitoring and amending the budget and how to develop a structurally balanced budget.

The first session will be at 7 p.m. April 6 at the Altmar-Albion Municipal Building. The second will be at 7 p.m. April 8 at the Boonville Town and Village Office Building.
