Wind meeting options tonight

It's not the whirlwind of activity that has happened in the last few weeks, but there are a couple of meetings tonight related to wind power regulations in Jefferson County.

The Orleans committee that’s examining the economics of wind power is meeting at 5:30 p.m. at the Orleans Town Hall, 20558 Sunrise Ave., LaFargeville.

Henderson’s Town Council will hear from Professor Paul G. Carr, Cornell University, Ithaca, on noise and discuss the town’s wind committee report. That meeting is also at 5:30 at the community building, 8939 Route 178.
