New chairman takes helm of Clarkson's ruling board

POTSDAM — Thomas E. Holliday assumed the chair of Clarkson University's board of trustees this past weekend.
Mr. Holliday was named chairman-elect over the winter. He was supposed to take the seat in the fall but had to take it earlier after chairman Everett G. Foster died in February.
Mr. Holliday is a retired lawyer and lives in Beverly Hills, Calif. He has been on the Clarkson board of trustees since 2000.
