More on offshore project

The Buffalo News has more on a possible offshore wind power project for Lake Erie. One of the five developers that submitted proposals to the New York Power Authority to build such a project was Apex Offshore Wind, which previously put in Steel Winds, where turbines were placed on the site of the old Bethlehem Steel plant in Lackawanna.
Some residents are concerned an offshore project could stir up polluted sediment on the lakebed.
