Washington Street work starts Tuesday

Beginning Tuesday, traffic on portions of Washington Street from Flower Avenue to the city limits will be limited to one lane. Crews from the Department of Public Works will mill the street for three to five days.
Work zones will continue along the road after that while crews make repairs before resurfacing.
Drivers on the road should expect delays. The city encourages drivers to find alternate routes.
