The Jefferson County Board of Legislators approved the time to submit to the state comptroller's office for the 10 legislators who are enrolled in the state retirement system. The board acted on the resolution during its meeting Tuesday night.
The legislators filed activity reports for three months. That time was divided into days per month, which will accrue time for the legislators that will be the basis for retirement payments when they leave public office.
Chairman Kenneth D. Blankenbush, R-Black River, recorded 6.14 days per month; Jennie M. Adsit, R-Watertown, filed 1.04 days per month; Michael W. Behling, R-Adams, tracked 1.66 days per month; Kent D. Burto, R-West Carthage, filed 4.01 days per month; Michael J. Docteur, R-Cape Vincent, filed 5.25 days per month; James A. Nabywaniec, R-Calcium, tracked 5.05 days per month; Barry M. Ormsby, R-Belleville, recorded 4.56 days per month; Philip N. Reed Sr., R-Collins Landing, filed 5.91 days per month, and James D. St. Croix, D-Watertown, filed 1.52 days per month.
