Ramos wins super stocks

EVANS MILLS — Mike Ramos held on to the division points lead by capturing the 20-lap super stocks race Saturday at Thunder Alley Speedpark.

Ramos and Ike Stone, who finished second, quickly moved from the back of the pack with Ramos securing the lead on lap nine. Dennis Petrus, who ranks second in points, claimed third place in a 14-car field.

Greg Roes won the men's trucks race, and Don Woodworth took the thunder cars division. Other winners included Scott Shafer (sports compacts), Ricky Swem (thunder stocks) and Jenn Burnash (women's trucks).
