The radio industry's top consumer research firm has tossed two listener diaries from its survey of the Watertown market last fall because of potential improprieties, CNYRadio.com reported today.
Arbitron, Washington, D.C., alerted customers today that the diaries "were returned from a household whose participation in the survey was disclosed to a media-affiliated individual.”
The firm said that ratings for some stations - in particular, The Border 106.7 FM - will be "substantially affected" by the diaries being tossed.
