A Quebec man pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court to a charge that he possessed 125 pounds of marijuana in the town of Orleans in April.
Henry Morice, 31, admitted that he had two bags of marijuana in the trunk of his Honda when it was halted April 23 for erratic operation by state troopers on Interstate 81. According to court documents, the marijuana was packaged in over 100 separate bags.
He faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine at sentencing Nov. 30.
