DEXTER — Wesley D. Barth, 82, 310 W. Kirby St., Dexter, died Tuesday, July 27, at Samaritan Medical Center. He was born October 24, 1927, in Rosiere, the son of Leopold and Myrtle Barth. He graduated from Lyme Schools and served in the US Army during the Korean War. Mr. Barth was a Lineman with the International Brotherhood of Electricians, working last at Fort Drum. He married Frances Clapsaddle.

Mr. Barth was a member Dexter American Legion Post #583.

Surviving him is a son Gary A. Barth, Chaumont; three daughters and their husbands, Deborah and Mark Voellinger, Fairport, NY, Rebecca and Kevin Ryan, Atlanta, GA, Shawna and Nick Hanslowe, Liverpool, NY; three sisters, Helen Barth, Rochester, NY, Florence Allen, Burrville, NY, Nina Green, Schofield, WI; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Five brothers, Kenneth, Oliver, Carl, Leo Jr., and Gerald Barth, and a sister, Kathleen Comins died before him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are with the Becker-Cleveland Funeral Home, Chaumont, New York.
