The Watertown Wizards' season came to a damp end Wednesday afternoon as their New York Collegiate Baseball League doubleheader against the Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds was rained out.

Cape Vincent's Justin Wiley was settling in well, having struck out five in 21/3 innings, before the weather wiped out the Wizards' final two games of the summer.

Brig Tison and John Bowron led off the bottom of the first for Watertown with back-to-back singles, and each was driven home by Kevin Whitehead and Robbie Gilles, respectively.

The Wizards finished the year 15-24, and lost six of their final seven games.
