It's way past time for us to recycle Congress. We should have done it years ago when the Democrats revealed their innate distaste for our Constitution and the sanctity of human life. Will-o'-the-wisp Republicans shamefully followed suit. It is my considered judgment that the political parties have abandoned both the Constitution which they have sworn to uphold and the American people whom they have sworn to represent.
Why, for instance, did the Republican Party select a candidate months in advance of a Republican primary? I resent and protest that dirty little habit. Are they afraid of their constituents? Are they afraid of unborn voters? To career politicians, is partial-birth abortion a sacred right?
Doug Hoffman is treated by the New York Republican Party with less respect than they pay to the president. I resent and protest that, too, but I'm not afraid of cowardly incumbents. I will vote for Doug Hoffman again this year. He is pro-life, pro-military, pro-Arizona, pro-freedom of selection of our own health insurance, pro-Christian-Judaic traditions, pro-family, pro-marriage between a man and a woman, pro-the right to bear arms, pro-free enterprise, pro-states' rights, pro-small federal government and pro-entrepreneurialism.
Recycle now and let incumbents be forewarned. We want our Republic back. We will vote in the Republican Primary Sept. 14, and we will win in November in spite of the New York State Republican Party.
