Empire State College also military friendly

I read with interest and appreciation the Aug. 22 article "Colleges ranked as friendly to military."

You can add SUNY Empire State College to the list, because we are another Northern New York college on the G.I. Jobs magazine's list of military-friendly colleges. The college has a unit located on Fort Drum and another in Watertown.

The college offers students the ability to earn an associate, bachelor's or master's degree at their own pace, anytime, anywhere.

Our Office of Veteran and Military Education has successfully worked with the nation's armed forces for more than a decade.

So, hats off to the paper for its recognition of military- friendly schools.
