Democrat Brian S. McGrath has appointed Linda Sandri, Beaver Falls, to be his campaign committee chair.

Ms. Sandri organized Leanne Moser's successful bid for Lewis County District Attorney in 2007, and also worked on the 2002 Assembly campaign of Andy Byrnes, and the 2004 and 2006 congressional campaigns of Robert J. Johnson.

All three candidates were Democrats.

When she's not running a campaign, Ms. Sandri is a bacteriologist at Lewis County General Hospital.

McGrath stated: “I am thrilled that Linda has agreed to assume this key position for my campaign and I look forward to working with her over the next two months. Sandri stated: “I am excited to join Brian’s campaign and look forward to Brian being elected our next Assemblyman. I firmly believe that Albany needs an independent-minded, political outsider like Brian to bring some North Country common sense to our state government.”
