With two weeks left until Primary Day, Republican congressional candidate Matt Doheny goes on the offensive. He slams opponent Doug Hoffman for pocketing money from his own campaign coffers for trips, meals, gas and other expenses. Mr. Hoffman's team calls for the ad to be taken down.
The negative ad could backfire on Mr. Doheny if Mr. Hoffman is better liked, a local college professor says.
