A Bronx man was sentenced Monday in Jefferson County Court to six years in state prison for possessing cocaine.
William H. Brown,38, also will have to undergo 11/2 additional years of supervision upon his release from prison for a May 17 guilty plea to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He admitted that he possessed cocaine in April 2009 in the town of Rutland. Judge Kim H. Martusewicz mandated that he participate in the prison system's Comprehensive Alcohol and Substance Abuse Treatment Program.
Mr. Brown originally had been indicted on allegations that he conspired with others to bring cocaine from the New York City area to Jefferson County. A co-defendant, Shawn G. Granger, 37, town of Pamelia, pleaded guilty in April to 32 charges against him contained in three indictments, including one that alleged he participated in the conspiracy. Mr. Granger was sentenced May 26 to eight years in prison.

Derek J. Dywer,25, Dexter, was sentenced to 11/2 years in prison for a June 18 guilty plea to fifth-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance. It had been alleged that he was a passenger in a vehicle halted Dec. 22 in Glen Park in which quantities of heroin and cocaine were found. Police halted the vehicle after its driver passed a stopped school bus at South Massey and Holcomb streets in Watertown.
His sentence will run concurrently with a 11/2-year term imposed in June in Rockland County for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was charged with having heroin after a vehicle in which he was traveling was halted in February on the New York State Thruway and 30 grams of the drug allegedly were found inside.
Isaac Quiles,27, an inmate at Gouverneur Correctional Facility, was sentenced to a year in prison for a June 28 guilty plea to third-degree assault. He admitted he got into a physical altercation with a corrections officer March 8 while incarcerated at Watertown Correctional Facility. His sentence will run concurrently with a 31/2-year sentence imposed in January in New York City for a fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance conviction.
Carlos M. Arroyo,24, Watertown, was sentenced to a year in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building for a June 25 guilty plea to third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance. He admitted that he tried to sell cocaine within the county in July 2009.
Dustin J. Pridell,23, Watertown, was sentenced to a year in the PSB for a June 25 guilty plea to first-degree menacing. He admitted that he placed Willie Moore in fear of being injured by displaying a knife during an April 6 altercation on State Street.
Joseph M. Cimineri,22, Philadelphia, admitted violating probation and was resentenced to a year in the PSB. He admitted violating probation by continuing to use heroin while under supervision and by failing to be evaluated for possible substance abuse treatment.
Corey R. Lydon,33, Rensselaer County, formerly of Watertown, admitted violating probation and was resentenced to nine months in the PSB. He admitted that he absconded from probation supervision in Rensselaer County, to which his supervision had been transferred in 2009.
Justin A. Cramer,19, Watertown, was sentenced to 60 days in the PSB and three years' probation for June 28 guilty pleas to two counts of second-degree criminal contempt as a result of separate incidents. He admitted violating an order of protection held by Samantha F. Nunez, Watertown, by engaging in physical altercations with her Feb. 13 and April 12.
Susanne H. Jenness,38, Watertown, was sentenced to five years' probation and ordered to pay $22,216 in restitution for a July 23 guilty plea to fourth-degree grand larceny. She was accused of receiving more than $3,000 in Department of Social Services child-care benefits from July 2004 to January 2009 while failing to disclose that Richard Howard was living with her, thus making her ineligible for the benefits.
Toni J. Gebo,42, Lowville, was sentenced to five years' probation and ordered to pay $200 in restitution for a June 30 guilty plea to second-degree forgery. She admitted that she made out a $200 check on an account belonging to another person and cashed it July 9, 2009, in Watertown.
Joshua M. McCargar,20, Sackets Harbor, was sentenced to three years' probation and ordered to pay $400 in restitution for a June 28 guilty plea to fourth-degree criminal mischief. He admitted he damaged a door at a Huntington Street apartment during an April 27 domestic dispute.
Teddy L. Markwick,47, Natural Bridge, was sentenced to a three-year conditional discharge and ordered to complete the Bridge program for a July 2 guilty plea to felony driving while intoxicated. He also was fined $2,500 and had his driver's license revoked. He admitted driving while intoxicated April 20 on Route 3 in the town of Wilna.
James C. Nunley,22, Evans Mills, was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge for a June 28 guilty plea to fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He also forfeited two guns. He admitted he possessed an illegal weapon April 3 in the town of LeRay. Police said at the time that he displayed a shotgun during a domestic dispute.
Stassa A. LaMay,31, Burke, formerly of Carthage, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree attempted grand larceny and second-degree falsifying business records. She was subsequently sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay $4,151 in restitution. She admitted that she submitted paperwork to the state Department of Labor stating she was unemployed in order to get unemployment insurance benefits while she was working at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino.
Jordan S. Powell,23, Fulton, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and was sentenced to an unspecified amount of time served at the PSB. He was also ordered to pay $650 in restitution. He admitted that he took a laptop computer that did not belong to him from a Farwell Street residence on June 26.
Lisa J. Esposito,42, Lorton, Va., formerly of Watertown, pleaded guilty by mail to fourth-degree criminal mischief and was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge. She also paid $1,317 upfront in restitution. She was accused of intentionally damaging a 1997 Ford F150 truck belonging to her estranged husband, John A. Esposito, by scratching it June in June 2009.
Eddie Liriano,23, of 232 W. Main St., Apt. 12B, pleaded guilty to third-degree rape. Sentencing was set for Oct. 25. He admitted that he had sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old girl Oct. 18 in Watertown.
Barry A. King,41, Watertown, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Sentencing was set for Oct. 25. He admitted that he possessed cocaine with the intent to sell the drug June 11. He was charged with having crack cocaine after police raided his residence at 135 Charles St.
