DENMARK — A small shed was destroyed by fire Tuesday afternoon at a town of Denmark dairy farm.

Castorland firefighters at 4:01 p.m. were called to the Lyndon W. and Patricia F. Moser farm, 3981 Wilson Road, and requested mutual aid from Copenhagen, Lowville and Beaver Falls fire departments.

The shed was deemed a total loss, and the blaze also caused minor damage to the nearby silos, according to Lewis County Fire Coordinator James M. Martin.

The fire was caused by sparks from metal cutting, he said.

The Mosers’ barn was destroyed by fire in September 2002, but the family had it rebuilt in 2003.
