Aaron Thompson

HAMMOND — Aaron R. Thompson, 22, lifetime resident of Hammond, NY, died Wednesday morning in the town of Alexandria.

Aaron was born March 16, 1988, in Panama, the son of Ronald G. and Marilyn Knight Thompson. He was educated at Hammond Central School and was recently working at Alteri's Bakery in Watertown.

Aaron loved the outdoors, music, and playing guitar.

He is survived by his mother, Marilyn and step-father, William Cannon, Newport News, VA; his father, Ronald G. and step-mother Lynette Thompson, Hammond, sisters Mrs. Gregory (Arielle) Demick, Hammond, and Jessica Thompson, Virginia Beach, Va.; step-brothers, Derek Trees, Saugerties, NY, and Adam Thompson, Hammond; step sister Avarie Cannon, Newport News, VA, maternal grandmother, Norma Knight, Plessis, NY and paternal grandmother, Marilyn Thompson, Ogdensburg, NY and a nephew and niece, Ethan and Harper Demick.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Morris (Sid) Knight, Alexandria Bay, NY and paternal grandfather, Gary Thompson, Ogdensburg, NY.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Costello Funeral Home, Alexandria Bay.

Memorial contributions may be made to the local SPCA or in Aaron's name to the charity of one's choice.
