Swing sets are being removed from elementary school playgrounds in West Virginia's Cabell County, the Associated Press reported. After the school system paid $20,000 to settle a lawsuit resulting from a swing accident, one official said, it is too costly to maintain a safe surface under the swings. Monkey bars are still allowed, however.
