Woman injured in shooting late Saturday on Gotham St.

An unidentified woman was taken to Samaritan Medical Center after an apparent shooting about 10 p.m. Saturday at a 1133 Gotham St. residence.

The woman was bleeding on the lawn of the residence and was taken to the hospital by Guilfoyle Ambulance. Her condition was unknown late Saturday.

The suspect, who reportedly had a handgun, fled the scene on a black and blue motorcycle but crashed it in the 500 block of Gotham Street about 10:30 p.m. and also was taken to Samaritan.

No further information was available Saturday.
