ADAMS — Ryan Paige stopped eight shots while four different players scored for the Carthage boys soccer team in a 4-2 crossover win against South Jefferson on Tuesday.
Jeremy Kaufman, Matt Gallagher, Jordan Abass and Conner Biolsi had a goal each for Carthage (1-0).
Nick Barker and Matt Bero scored in the second half for South Jefferson (0-1).
POTSDAM 1, NORWOOD-NORFOLK 1
Scott Bartenstein converted on a pass from Pete McAdoo in the 76th minute to help Potsdam salvage a tie with Norwood-Norfolk in a Northern Athletic Conference Central Division game.
The Flyers (1-1-1 overall, 0-0-1 division) took a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute with a goal from Alex Ploof. Potsdam fell to 0-1-2 and 0-0-1.

Joey Butts tallied two goals for the Pirates in a win over Clifton-Fine (0-1) in a West Division game in Harrisville. Dakota Smith scored the other goal for Harrisville (1-0) and Wayne Best made two saves for the shutout.

Ashley Fowler scored the game-winning goal in the 77th minute to give Harrisville (1-0) a win over the Eagles in a West Division game at Star Lake.
