HAMMOND — Kamrie Dandrow scored two goals and added three assists to lead the Edwards-Knox girls soccer team to an 8-2 rout of Hammond in the Northern Athletic Conference West Division opener for each team on Wednesday.
Mercedes Mackin scored two goals for Edwards-Knox. Ashley Davison added one goal with two assists while Harleigh LeBarge scored one goal with one assist. Veronica White and Sarah Manning added single goals.
Alyssa Crosby scored twice for Hammond.

Mike Trombly scored an unassisted goal in the 11th minute to lead Chateaugay past the Panthers in an East Division game in Brushton. It was the opening game for both squads. Erik Fleury made eight saves for the shutout.
