CANTON — Sam Brown and Murphy Newman scored second-half goals to help the Canton girls soccer team come back from a one-goal deficit to defeat Harrisville, 2-1, in a nonleague game between Northern Athletic Conference squads on Thursday.
Newman's game-winner came in the 76th minute for the Golden Bears (1-1).
Katie French scored for Harrisville (1-1).
