Salmon River lacrosse just acquired the top attacker in the country, according to InsideLacrosse.com

Lyle Thompson, the brother of Miles who will play for the University at Albany this year, is transfering to play his senior season for the Shamrocks.

Thompson played for Salmon River in eighth and ninth grade before transfering to LaFayette. He comes back to reunite with Iroquois teammate Seth Oakes, Ky Tarbell and Dalston Day. All are considered top prospects and makes Salmon River a state title contender.

Thompson was a first-team Times All-North selection as a freshman before leaving for LaFayette.
