Saints picked eighth by INCH

Inside College Hockey released its ECAC Hockey season preview today. The website has selected St. Lawrence to finish eighth in the conference.

Yale, like it has in every preseason preview, took the top spot. Union was picked second, RPI third and Cornell fourth.

Clarkson was picked last.

Defenseman George Hughes is briefly mentioned as an impact player for the Saints this season. In the story, INCH writer Joe Gladziszewski writes:

"Preseason all-league defenseman George Hughes opened a lot of eyes for St. Lawrence last year and will be counted on to produce as a sophomore. Also look for a big year from classmate Kyle Flanagan, a Canton, N.Y. native who is the team’s top returning scorer."
