Saints get three votes in USCHO Week 2 poll

The St. Lawrence University men's hockey team received three votes in the latest USCHO.com poll.

Yale remained at No. 5 again and is the highest ranked ECAC school. The Bulldogs don't start their season for another two weeks. Cornell came in at No. 12. Union moved up in the list from No. 19 to No. 16 this week. The Dutchmen pounded Scared Heart twice opening week. They beat Sacred Heart 9-0 on Friday and 7-3 on Saturday.

Clarkson didn't receive a vote after an opening-weekend split.

Boston College, the defending national champion, stayed at the top spot. North Dakota came in at No. 2 and Michigan was third.

Other ECAC schools receiving votes: Colgate, Rensselaer, St. Lawrence.
