St. Lawrence senior forward Sean Flanagan was named the ECAC MLX Skates Player of the Week for his weekend performance against Minnesota State.
Flanagan, who was playing in his first games for the Saints in over a year, had five points on the weekend. He had two goals and two assists in St. Lawrence 5-5 tie with Minnesota on Friday and an assist on the game-tying goal in SLU's 1-1 tie on Saturday.
Freshman goalie Matt Weninger was named the ECAC MLX Skates Goalie of the Week as well. He made 37 saves, allowing one goal, in his collegiate debut. Four of his 37 saves came in overtime.
Josh Jooris of Union was the rookie of the week.
