I sat down as I do every week for an interview with St. Lawrence University head coach Joe Marsh.
In this week's podcast, Marsh and I discuss how the injuries have impacted the team, where the injuries stand, how the team is responding in practice and Marsh's take on incoming recruits and St. Lawrence's need to be fundamentally sound.
Injury Updates
Aaron Bogosian: He has a Grade 1 MCL sprain in his right knee. The senior is wearing a bulky knee brace while he waits for a more mobile brace. He expects to be out at least two weeks. He will more than likely be out around 4-6 weeks. Once he mends (2-4 weeks), he'll then need to skate and get back in game shape. He can't participate in much right now to keep his endurance up.
Jared Keller: He is still on the mend after suffering another concussion in the season opener against Minnesota. I have not spoken with him in the last two weeks and Marsh said Keller won't play this weekend and may not come back this season.
Pete Child: After his knee recovered, Child now has a back injury and will miss this weekend.
