I will be blogging and Tweeting live from Appleton Arena on Saturday night. You can follow me on Twitter @SLUHockey.

What: Vermont at St. Lawrence

When: 7 p.m. Saturday

Where: Appleton Arena

Radio: WLFK-FM 95.3 or online

Saints (3-8-3) Notes: The Saints have displayed signs of a good team, but haven't played consistently well yet this year. Injuries to key players have cripled development of younger talent, but St. Lawrence was off last week and should return to the ice near full strength.

Catamounts (2-8-4) Notes: Mired in one of its worst starts in school history, the Catamounts snapped a five-game winless streak last weekend with a 6-5 victory of Dartmouth. They started Hockey East play 0-3-2 before earning their first win. Vermont defeated St. Lawrence last season, 3-0, and is 4-2 against the Saints since leaving the ECAC in 2005.

UVM Player to Watch: Rob Madore (G) - Last year, Madore baffled St. Lawrence in Vermont. Then a sophomore, he made 21 saves in his fart career shutout. He finished the season 13-13-7 with four shutouts. This year has been a struggle early, but with Madore in net, the Catamounts always have a chance. He's stopping nearly 90 percent of this shots he faces, but has a 3.27 GAA.

SLU Player to Watch: Aaron Bogosian (F) - Bogosian has returned from a knee injury that caused him to miss five games. His presence on a line alongside Kyle Flanagan and Greg Carey has made the starting SLU forwards among the most productive in the conference. Flanagan leads in scoring with 12 points and Carey is second with 10. Bogosian is fast and sets the pace every shift he's on the ice.
