Repairs to the Zamboni at Cheel Arena caused the Golden Knights to drive a few miles east in Potsdam to conduct Wednesday's practice at SUNY Potsdam's Maxcy Hall Arena.

Clarkson is preparing to start the second half of the ECAC Hockey season this weekend when it hosts Quinnipiac at 7 p.m. on Friday and Princeton at 4 p.m. Saturday.

The Golden Knights, who went 6-4-1 in the first half of the conference schedule, beat both of this weekend's opponents on the road.

Friday's Clarkson Notes, which can be found in our online edition, will feature juniors Nick Tremblay and Julien Cayer, two highly-touted recruits who struggled with injuries during their first two years but had solid performances last weekend.

First, coach George Roll discusses the state of his team at the halfway point of the season, as well as Tremblay and Cayer:

The interviews with Tremblay and Cayer required two takes, because in each case teammates were trying to make them laugh and distract them as they talked. As you can see, this is not a tense team.

Finally, a little footage as Clarkson prepares for it's practice at SUNY Potsdam.
