Practice notes

Lots to report from practice today:

• Peter Child's injury is a right kneecap dislocation. It is third time he's had the injury on that knee. Coincidentally, the latest dislocation occurred exactly one year after the previous one. He will miss at least two weeks and hopes to be back in time for the playoffs. He did make it back for the post season last year.

• Rick Carden was back skating after missing several games due to a groin injury. He has played in 17 of the team's 25 games. He hasn't played since Jan. 3 against Sacred Heart.

• Joe Marsh did not attend practice on Tuesday. He continues to recover from his procedure on Jan. 20. The assistant coaches expect him to be with the team on Wednesday and travel with the team this weekend.

St. Lawrence University sophomore Jeff Chudzinski is filming a documentary on the hockey team. He expects to have the film completed by the end of April and hold an on-campus screening on April 23. Here are the first two trailers and my podcast with St. Lawrence associate head coach Bob Prier:
