The Golden Knights won a big game Friday, defeating Brown 4-1 before 2,236 at Cheel Arena.
Clarkson (13-13-2 overall, 7-8-1 conference) had a two-point lead on the Bears for eighth place in the ECAC Hockey standings. Friday's win gives Clarkson a four-point cushion and also assures the Golden Knights of the tie-breaker, should the teams finished tied.
