Waddington;

The state Department of Transportation will hold a meeting at 5 p.m. at the Waddington Municipal Building to discuss a possible State Route 37 project. The project would rehab six culverts and remove a cattle pass in Lisbon and Waddington. The project will include "minor" land acquisitions from property owners.

Feds:

Senate Judiciary Committee takes up nomination of Mae D'Agostino to be U.S. District Judge for Northern District of New York. Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-NY, may attend.

House Armed Services subcommittee takes testimony from defense officials on military readiness.

The Senate Armed Services Committee takes up the nomination of Gen. Martin E. Dempsey to be the next Army chief of staff.
