Clarkson captain Mark Borowiecki, a junior, signed with the National Hockey League's Ottawa Senators on Thursday and will be leaving school a year early.

It is not known yet where Borowiecki will be playing.

Borowiecki played in 31 games this season for the Golden Knights and had three goals and eight assists. He played in 99 career games at Clarkson with 12 goals and 20 assists.
