Fourth Quarter
Strong inside play led Burke Catholic to a solid finish and the Class B state title.
Dante Cowart finished with 22 points for the Eagles.
John Coleman scored 17 for Potsdam and Zach Adams finished with 19 points.

Third Quarter
A big third quarter for the Sandstoners, who outscored Burke Catholic 19-10 to cut the Eagles lead to 39-36 after three.
Potsdam used a 9-0 run to tie the game 34-34. Zach Adams had a big quarter for Potsdam, scoring 11 points.

Second Quarter
Heading into this weekend Potsdam allowed an average of just 34.8 points. Burke Catholic has almost hit that mark in the first half as it leads the Sandstoners 29-17.
Dante Cowart continues to pace the Eagles with 13 points. Zach Rufer has six points.
John Coleman leads Potsdam with 11 points and Zach Adams has four.

First Quarter
It was similar to the semifinal for Potsdam, which struggled and trails 14-6 after the first eight minutes. The Sandstoners missed free throws and a few close shots.

Potsdam has won 25 straight games heading into tonight's state Class B championship game at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
The Sandstoners last loss was to tonight's opponent, Section 9's Burke Catholic, in a state semifinal a year ago.
Like Potsdam, Burke Catholic (21-2) also has improvement on its mind. While Burke Catholic beat Potsdam a year ago, the Eagles went on to lose in the state title game.
Potsdam, the top-ranked team in the state, cruised to a 66-48 win over Section 5's Charlotte Friday, closing out the first half on a 20-1 run.
The Sandstoners feature three 1,000-point scorers in their lineup and each had a big game in the semifinals. John Coleman shot 13 of 18 and finished with 27 points. Zach Adams scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Scott Bartenstein scored eight points, grabbed seven rebounds and had 10 assists.
Burke Catholic avenged a state championship loss to Section 3's Westhill last year by knocking off the defending state champions 63-58.
Zach Rufer scored 28 points for Burke Catholic, including 15 in the final 7 minutes, 26 seconds of the game.
The Eagles' 6-foot-7 center, Brendan Miller, had just two points in Friday's game. He scored 16 points against Potsdam last year and averages 13 points and eight rebounds.
Potsdam is the first Section 10 Class B team to make a state finals since 2007, when Ogdensburg Free Academy lost 44-42 to Malverne. The only Section 10 boys champion was Class D Chateaugay in 2008.
