Burke Catholic avenged a state championship loss to Section 3's Westhill last year by knocking off the defending state champions 63-58.

The Eagles' 6-foot-7 center, Brendan Miller, had just two points in Friday's game. He scored 16 points against Potsdam last year and averages 13 points and eight rebounds.
Potsdam is the first Section 10 Class B team to make a state finals since 2007, when Ogdensburg Free Academy lost 44-42 to Malverne. The only Section 10 boys champion was Class D Chateaugay in 2008.
