The House Transportation Committee holds a hearing on improving surface transportation programs.

Watertown

The Jefferson County Planning Board will meet at 4 p.m. to discuss a zoning change of the site of the planned 288-bed assisted living facility that Samaritan Medical Center wants to build off outer Washington Street. The property is now zoned residential A and would be changed to Commercial.

Jefferson County

Jefferson County’s Finance and Rules Committee will consider creating a local development corporation with the power to issue civic facility bonds at 7 p.m. The corporation would have the same officers as the Jefferson County Industrial Development Agency.
