Today's news, and tomorrow's news, and the news for the next couple of weeks, will be dominated by the death of Osama bin Laden, the global supervillain responsible for the deaths of thousands upon thousands of innocent civilians.
The effect on Fort Drum will be enormous as our soldiers deployed to Afghanistan cope with the certain backlash from bin Laden's acolytes.

Waddington dissolution
Waddington Dissolution Committee will hold a public meeting 7 p.m. Monday at St. Mary's Parish Hall. There will be a presentation of the dissolution plan.
Watertown
The Watertown City Council is expected to vote tonight on having a local accounting firm conduct an audit of the city’s Parks and Recreation Department. Council meets at 7 p.m. in the third-floor council chambers.
