The House Agriculture Committee holds a hearing on free trade agreements, with Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack testifying. Rep. William L. Owens, D-Plattsburgh, is on the committee.
State politics
Gov. Andrew Cuomo continues his barnstorming tour of the state. Ag and Markets Commissioner Darrel Aubertine — the former Cape Vincent dairy farmer — is on WAMC Northeast Public Radio this morning to discuss the governor's legislative priorities.
