The Golden Knights have seen two recruits choose other options in recent weeks.

Defenseman Luke Juha, who played for Burlington of the Ontario Junior Hockey League, has changed his mind after former coach George Roll was fired and will instead join Penn State's hockey program when the Nittany Lions begin play in the 2012-13 season.

Forward Ryan Van Stralen, who was playing for Smith's Falls, has opted to play major juniors with the Ottawa 67's instead of taking the college route.

Juha was supposed to be part of Clarkson's incoming class while Van Stralen was expected to join the program in the 2012-13 season.
