President Obama was at Fort Drum yesterday, where he praised the troops and talked about the mission in Afghanistan.

His visit brought out protestors.

Rep. Bill Owens backs Obama's drawdown plan.

Gay marriage, etc

Still nada on gay marriage, SUNY tuition and a property tax cap.

She tells Capital Tonight that she's "upfront" with her constituents on her gay marriage position, but when the Watertown Times wants to take a photo of her, she makes sure to remove rainbow flags from her desk.

President Obama, meanwhile, is still not supportive of gay marriage.

Libya

A New York Democrat says Obama is "becoming an absolute monarch"

House Republicans have set a vote on Libya.

Afghanistan

Petraeus didn't advise as big a pullout as Obama eventually settled on.
