The Whig-Standard, a Canadian newspaper, says that Americans are "boycotting" Canada because of the treatment of a boater Roy Anderson, who was forced to pay $1,000 because he didn't check into customs. (I think the word "boycott" is pretty strong here, for what it's worth. The people I've spoken with are just scared of getting arrested and charged $1,000, which is why they're not going over.)
