Stephen Peck and John Lancaster to give Clarkson convocation talk

POTSDAM — Stephen Peck and John Lancaster will deliver the Van Sickle Endowed Lecture at Clarkson University’s convocation on Monday.

Mr. Peck, president and CEO of the United States Veterans Initiative, and Mr. Lancaster, a Potsdam resident and retired executive director of the National Council on Independent Living, will give their presentation at 7 p.m. in Cheel Arena. Their talk will focus on themes expressed in Tim O’Brien’s award-winning novel “The Things They Carried,” the 2011 summer reading selection for incoming first-year students at Clarkson.
