Clarkson professor named to national speaker list

POTSDAM — The American Chemical Society has invited Richard E. Partch, professor of chemistry at Clarkson University’s Center for Advanced Materials Processing, to be on its national tour speaker list.

The invitation is a result of Mr. Partch’s research in the field of colloidal particle surface modification, especially as it applies to ceramic, composite, electronic, imaging, medical, printing and security technologies. As a speaker on the list, Mr. Partch will be eligible to speak at monthly professional meetings of more than 150 regional sections of the American Chemical Society.

In spring, he spoke by invitation to sections of the society in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia.
