Fleury sets shutout mark for Chateaugay

CHATEAUGAY — Erik Fleury set the career shutout record at Chateaugay, and Chad Stalter scored the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute as the Bulldogs picked up a 1-0 Northern Athletic Conference East Division victory over visiting Colton-Pierrepont on Thursday.

Fleury made three saves for career shutout No. 24 1/2 for Chateaugay (6-3, 4-2), breaking Zach Peck’s mark of 23 1/2, set in 2007.

Craig Miller stopped seven shots for Colton-Pierrepont (5-5-3, 1-3-2).

MASSENA 3, SALMON RIVER 1

Joey Labelle scored twice to lift the Red Raiders past the Shamrocks in a nonleague game at Fort Covington.

Nick Lobdell connected for one goal and Zach Fregoe logged two assists for Massena (5-4-2). Oakley Thomas scored for Salmon River (5-4-1).

POTSDAM 5, NORWOOD-NORFOLK 1

Kyle Kingsley scored twice to lead the Sandstoners to a nonleague victory over the host Flyers.

Ebuka Ononye, Lee Buchanan, and Joe Bartlett added a goal apiece for Potsdam (6-1-3).

Gunner Brown scored from Zach Brown for Norwood-Norfolk (3-8-1).

HEUVELTON 3, HAMMOND 2

Jon Sloan produced the game-winner in the 63rd minute to cap the comeback for the Bulldogs in their West Division victory over the visiting Red Devils.

Jack Tennant and Aaron Cobb each added a goal for Heuvelton (6-6, 6-3).

Hammond (0-11, 0-9) received two goals from Spencer Pease.

HARRISVILLE 1, HERMON-DEKALB 0

Henry Garbrecht scored the game’s only goal to power the host Pirates to a West Division victory over the Demons.

Wayne Best didn’t make a save in the shutout for Harrisville (10-1, 7-0).

Zach Robinson handled seven shots for Hermon DeKalb (4-6, 3-3).

LISBON 2, MORRISTOWN 0

Two second-half goals helped the Knights snap a two-game skid with a West Division victory in Morristown.

Dylan Crawford scored from Adam Felt for Lisbon (7-4, 5-3) and Kyle Binion added a goal just minutes later.

Alex Colby stopped four shots for Morristown (4-6, 4-5).

MADRID-WADDINGTON 2, ST. LAWRENCE 0

Colin O’Bryan figured in both goals for the Yellowjackets in their nonleague victory over the host Larries.

O’Bryan scored from Terry Crump, and assisted on a Jake Mayette goal for Madrid-Waddington (8-3-1). Regan Dunbar registered 18 saves for St. Lawrence (0-6).

PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 3, ST. REGIS FALLS 0

Tyler Gallagher’s goal and two assists led the Panthers past the Saints in an East Division game at St. Regis Falls.

Jordan Dishaw and John Conger added a goal apiece for Parishville-Hopkinton (9-1-3, 5-0-2).

Timmy Wheeler tallied 20 saves for St. Regis Falls (1-8-1, 0-7-1).

GIRLS SOCCER

MALONE 2, SALMON RIVER 1

Katie Tatro and Emily Hutchins each scored as the Huskies handed the Shamrocks their first loss of the season in a nonleague game at Fort Covington.

Tatro and Katie Lavoie each added an assist for Malone (7-3), while Brianna Cositore made nine saves.

Carlee Cree scored on a corner kick for Salmon River (9-1-1).

PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 1, EDWARDS-KNOX 0

Michaela Cole scored an unassisted goal to lead the Panthers to an East Division triumph over the Cougars in Russell.

Marlee Wilson had five saves in the shutout for Parishville-Hopkinton (11-0-1, 7-0-1).

Katie Hale stopped 16 shots for Edwards-Knox (0-8-1, 0-5-1).

TUPPER LAKE 2, MADRID-WADDINGTON 1

Skylar Trivieri generated both goals, including the game-winner in the 73rd minute, for the Lumberjacks in their East Division victory over the visiting Yellow Jackets.

Ciera North assisted on the game-winner for Tupper Lake (6-4, 3-3) and Katie Stuart assisted on the game’s first goal.

Brittany Pierce scored and Shelby Guasby made eight saves for Madrid-Waddington (5-5, 2-3).

VOLLEYBALL

EDWARDS-KNOX 3, CANTON 1

Nicole Hendricks’s 13 points, three aces and five assists helped the Cougars top the Bears (3-8) in four sets, 25-14, 25-11, 17-25, 25-18, in Russell.

Kristina Klock contributed seven aces and six kills, and Kyrsten Phelps had four aces and five kills for Edwards-Knox (3-7).

POTSDAM 3, GOUVERNEUR 0

Kelsey Travis provided 12 points as the Sandstoners swept the Wildcats, 25-18, 25-21, 25-13, in an East Division match in Gouverneur.

Taylor Bonno supplied six points and four kills, while Sarah Vivlamore added eight points and five assists for Potsdam (8-3, 6-0).

Nicole Richards finished with eight points and three aces for Gouverneur (2-10, 1-5).

MASSENA 3, TUPPER LAKE 0

Dana Conger’s 15 points helped the Red Raiders to a West Division sweep of the visiting Lumberjacks, 25-9, 25-19, 25-21.

Marissa Truax added 13 points, 15 assists and five kills, while Tristan Thomas provided 11 points, four aces and four kills for Massena (9-2). Tupper Lake fell to 5-6.

OFA 3, MADRID-WADDINGTON 0

Brittany Barr delivered 14 points, seven aces and five kills as the Blue Devils picked up a West Division victory over the Yellow Jackets, 25-13, 25-17, 25-6, in Madrid.

Felicia Barr provided five aces and six kills for OFA (7-5, 5-1). Madrid-Waddington dropped to 0-12, 0-7.

MALONE 3, BRUSHTON-MOIRA 0

Jackalyn Boyer served 16 straight points with nine aces in the third set, leading the Huskies to a sweep of the visiting Panthers, 25-5, 25-11, 25-10.

Anna Dievendord supplued 15 points, five aces and seven assists for Malone (8-2). Brushton-Moira fell to 1-8.
