Mayoral contest dominates the WDT politics shop

The blogging, I realize, has been light.

I spent all day yesterday working on candidate profiles for Mayor Jeff Graham and Councilman Jeff Smith for the Nov. 8 election. Today, I was out at a debate, chasing down documents at the county clerk's office, and trying to get in touch with members of City Council to comment on whether this race has gotten too nasty. (To be decided.)

Things will pick up again soon. For instance, I'm putting together my story on the debate forthwith.

The short version: It didn't get nasty like the other ones.
