Clarkson is preparing to play American International for the first time this weekend in a two-game, nonconference series.

Golden Knights senior goalie Paul Karpowich had his first shutout of the year last Friday against Sacred Heart and was named the ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week.

Karpowich discussed that honor, as well as meeting former Clarkson standout Dave Taylor and his other love, besides hockey, the great outdoors.
