A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at noon Monday for a project to convert two Stone Street buildings into apartments.

For several years, Neighbors of Watertown has been working on the project to transform 190 Stone St., near Sherman Street, into 10 transitional living apartments and an adjacent house that was once a music school into three other apartments.

The project had been previously delayed. After being straightened out, interior demolition began a little more than a week ago. Previously, an office building and a house had been torn down to make way for the project, which also includes landscaping around that corner.
