Two men arrested Sunday after altercation on State Street

Two men face charges in State Street scuffle

Watertown police charged Justin A. Sullivan, 25, of 1620 Huntington St., Apt. 2S, with disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana and Kevin H. Snyder, 37, of 31084 Eddy Road, Apt. 75, Theresa, with resisting arrest and second-degree obstruction of government administration about 2:05 a.m. Sunday on the 1300 block of State Street.

Police said Mr. Sullivan is accused of kicking another individual who was on the ground, and Mr. Snyder is accused of of attempting to help Mr. Sullivan exit a police car and flee from officers.

Mr. Sullivan is to appear in Watertown City Court.

Mr. Snyder was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment in Watertown Town Court.
