White House soliciting cards by military children
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2011
Children of military service members are invited to send holiday cards honoring a “brave mom or dad” to the White House.
Handmade cards should be 5 by 8 inches and should include the parent’s name, branch of service and command.
Participants can mail cards to Reservation 1, Attn.: Social Office, P.O. Box 8070, Washington, D.C. 20032.
Cards must be sent by Nov. 16 and a return address is requested.
