LOWVILLE A Lowville man already facing a drunken-driving charge in Lewis County Court was arraigned Friday on a second one.
Robert C. Lebel, 36, of 5585 Water St., was arraigned before County Judge Charles C. Merrell on charges of felony aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving left of pavement markings and following too closely.
He pleaded innocent. His case including another felony DWI charge was adjourned to Dec. 9.
Mr. Lebel was charged Oct. 6 after allegedly driving into the rear of a dump truck at the main intersection in Lowville. His blood alcohol content was 0.36 percent, more than four times the state intoxication threshold of 0.08 percent, according to court documents Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.
Mr. Lebel a few weeks ago was arraigned on the other DWI charge, stemming from a Sept. 12 accident in which he allegedly struck a parked car in a lot at 7504 S. State St.
Also Friday in Lewis County Court:
Chad M. Kraeger, 24, of 3573 Kelpytown Road, Port Leyden, was arraigned on charges of felony aggravated DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He pleaded innocent. His case was adjourned to Dec. 9.
Mr. Kraeger was stopped Sept. 3 on Number Four Road in the town of Lowville.
Bryon M. Ielfield, 29, of 5480 Trinity Ave., had his case of first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child set for possible trial Dec. 12.
He was accused of having sexual contact with a girl younger than 11 years old April 29 in the village of Lowville, and of showing her an indecent photo on his cellphone.
Mr. Ielfield is serving a two- to four-year state prison term on charges of fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree criminal mischief. He was convicted on those charges by a Lewis County jury in May and sentenced in July.
